Nitro Flow
Ingredients
β’ 16 oz water
β’ 0.5 lb ginger (peeled and chopped)
β’ 2 oranges π (juiced)
β’ 2 lemons π (juiced)
β’ 1 tbsp turmeric powder
β’ 1 tsp black pepper
β’ 1β2 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
β’ Pinch of salt
β’ 1 small beet (or 2 tbsp beet juice if no fresh beet)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
β’ Peel and chop the ginger.
β’ Juice the oranges and lemons.
β’ If using a fresh beet, peel and cut it into small pieces.
2. Simmer the Mixture:
β’ In a pot, combine water, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and the pinch of salt.
β’ Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it simmer for 10β15 minutes to infuse.
3. Blend and Strain:
β’ Add the beet pieces (or beet juice), orange juice, and lemon juice to the pot. Mix well.
β’ Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then blend it until smooth.
β’ Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove pulp and ginger fibers.
4. Sweeten and Adjust:
β’ Stir in 1β2 tablespoons of honey while the mixture is still warm. Adjust sweetness as desired.
5. Serve:
β’ Pour into small shot glasses or bottles.
β’ Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Shake before serving.
